Definition of Listing
Listing refers to the process of a company making its shares available for subscription through an official stock exchange, and becoming a publicly listed company. In India, there are two primary stock exchanges on which companies get listed: the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
