1981

  • Automotive Axles Limited was promoted as a joint venture between the Kalyani Group and Rockwell International Corporation, U.S.A.

1983

  • The Company entered the capital market with an issue of 16,50,000 Equity Shares at par in July

  • Commercial production commenced on July 1

2002

  • Mr. Ashok Rao was appointed as President & Wholetime Director of Automotive Axles

2003

  • ICICI Mutual Fund acquired 795868 shares of the company representing 5.26% of the paid up capital

2004

  • The delisting of Company's Equity Shares from the Bangalore Stock Exchange and Pune Stock Exchange was approved
  • Mr. Adelio Raschi resigned as Director of the Company

2007

  • The Company opened a New Occupational Health Centre
  • The Board approved an interim dividend of Rs 6 per share

2008
