1976

  • The company was incorporated as a Pvt. Ltd. Company under the name of Bhatinda Chemicals and Banaspati Mills Pvt. Ltd. on 3rd February.

1979

  • The capacity of the Solvent plant was doubled to 80 TPD and a 12 TPD Hydrogenation plant was financed by PSIDC.

1980

  • The company diversified its activities by installing a refinery and oil mill from its own sources and raised the capacity of the solvent extraction plant to 100 TPD.

1985

  • The company name was changed to Bhatinda Chemicals Pvt.Ltd on 6th May.

1989

  • The company was converted into a deemed Public Ltd. Company on 2nd January.

1990

  • The company enhanced the capacity of solvent extraction from 100 TPD to 150 TPD by raising a loan of Rs 80 lacs from PSIDC.

1991

  • The company was sanctioned Rs. 120 lacs from PSIDC for installation of a fresh solvent extraction plant of 200 TPD.
  • The capacity of the Hydrogenation plant was raised from 12 TPD to 25 TPD.
  • The company stopped manufacturing hard oil and modified the hydrogenation plant to facilitate Vanaspati manufacturing after delicensing of Vanaspati Ghee.

2000

  • The Board decided to issue further equity shares on a preferential basis.

2008

  • The company name was changed from Bhatinda Chemicals Ltd to BCL Industries & Infrastructures Ltd.
  • The company created an email id for registering investor complaints.

2013

  • BCL Industries & Infrastructures appointed M/s. P. Mittal & Co., Chartered Accountants as auditors of the Company.

2014

  • BCL Industries & Infrastructures appointed Sh. R. C. Nayyar, Retd. IAS Officer, as the Chairman of the Company.

2016

  • Acquisition of Equity Shares of BCL Industries & Infrastructures Ltd. took place.

2018

  • The company name was changed to BCL Industries Ltd. from BCL Industries & Infrastructures Ltd.

2022

  • AICTE in association with BCL set up Punjab's first Idea Lab at MRSPTU.

2023

  • The Company split its face value from Rs. 10 to Rs. 1.
