1990

  • The company was originally incorporated as Bedmutha Wire Company Private Limited.

1992

  • The company commenced commercial production of the first Galvanized Plant with an installed capacity of 3600 MTPA.

1994

  • The company increased its installed capacity from 3600 MTPA to 6100 MTPA by de-bottling of galvanized plant.
  • The company was approved as a Vendor of Maharashtra State Electricity Board.

1996

  • The company was approved as a Vendor of Gujarat Electricity Board and Karnataka Electricity Board.

1997

  • The company expanded by adding Galvanized Plant no-2 of 5400 MTPA and total capacity of 11,500 MTPA.
  • The name of the company was changed to Bedmutha Wire Company Limited on conversion into Public Limited Company.

1998

  • The company acquired the Wire Drawing Capacity from M/s. Kamal Wire with a capacity of 16,800 MTPA in Sinnar, Nashik.
  • The company took over M/s Kamal Wire Drawing, a proprietary concern of Mr. Vijay Kachardas Vedmutha.

1999

  • The company was approved as a Vendor of Rajastan Electricity Board.

2000

  • M/s. Test Engineers and Associates was taken over by Bedmutha Industries Limited.

2001

  • The company acquired a Deemed Export Order from Rajasthan State Electricity Board under World Bank Tender.

2003

  • The company installed a 3rd Galvanizing plant adding 5300 MTPA.

2004

  • The company obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification.

2005

  • The company enhanced its Wire Drawing Capacity from 16,800 MTPA to 18,000 MTPA.

2006

  • The company was approved as a Vendor of Power Grid Corporation.

2007

  • The company installed a 4th Galvanizing plant taking total galvanizing capacity to 25,300 MTPA.
  • The company installed a wind power turbine.

2008

  • The company set up a Wind Mill in Karnataka with a power generation capacity of 225 KW.
  • The consultancy division K.R. Bedmutha Techno & Associates was spun off into a separate entity.
  • The company expanded Wire & Wire Products Capacity from 18,000 MTPA to 42,100 MTPA and installed Wire Nails Capacity of 1800 MTPA and stranding Capacity of 2400 MTPA.
  • The Hon’ble High Court at Mumbai passed the order of Amalgamation of M/s. Ajay Wire Products Private Ltd., Kamdhenu Wire Private Ltd. and Shriram Wire Private Ltd with Bedmutha Industries Limited.

2009

  • The name of the company was changed to Bedmutha Industries Ltd.
  • The company acquired 51% stake in Kamlasha infrastructure and Engineering Pvt. Ltd for implementation of turnkey contract of electrification.

2010

  • The Company was awarded Mega project status by the Government of Maharashtra for the proposed expansion.
  • The Company signed the MOU for the manufacturing of LRPC wires, Spring steel wires, GI wires and SS wires.

2014

  • Bedmutha Industries Ltd appointed Mr. Vikramaditya Ugra as Nominee Director on the Board of the Company.

2017

  • The company received a letter of award from MP Poorve Keshtra Vidyut Vitaran Co. Ltd. for Rs. 198.61 Crores.
