1986

  • The company was incorporated as Bharat Ropes Private Limited on July 24, 1986.

1992

  • The company became a public limited company and its name was changed to Bharat Ropes Limited.
  • A fresh Certificate of Incorporation was issued on June 10, 1992 by the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai, Maharashtra.

1996

  • The name of the company was changed from Bharat Ropes Limited to Bharat Wire Ropes Limited.

2006

  • The company shifted its manufacturing facility from Bhandup, Mumbai to Atgaon, Thane.

2010

  • There was a change in the management of the company from the Shah Group to the Mittal family.
  • Gaji Mercantile Private Limited purchased 1,06,75,490 equity shares of the company.

2012

  • The company raised equity of Rs. 3000.00 lacs from Gaji Mercantile Private Limited and Rs. 1000.00 lacs from Passionate Investment Management Private Limited.

2015

  • The company was sanctioned a term loan facility of Rs. 33000.00 lacs.
  • The company was granted a plot of land at M.I.D.C. Chalisgaon Industrial Area, Village - Khadki, BK Chalisgaon, District Jalgaon, Maharashtra through a pre-determined lease agreement dated March 31, 2015.

2016

  • The company received the award of a prestigious rate contract.

2017

  • The company commenced commercial production from its wire rope manufacturing facility at Chalisgaon, Maharashtra.
  • The company booked orders of approximately Rs. 8 Crore, including a prestigious order from the defense sector for approximately Rs. 6.5 Crore.

2018

  • The company became a life member of Paryavaran Mitra.
  • The company achieved excellent export performance and obtained export house status.

2019

  • The company received the EEPCINDIA 51st Export Awards for large enterprise with the highest growth in exports during 2018-2019.
