Chennai Ferrous Industries Limited reported a net loss of Rs 14.48 lacs for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, compared to a net profit of Rs 97.05 lacs in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations decreased to Rs 5,650.60 lacs from Rs 6,920.90 lacs in the previous quarter. For the half-year period, the company achieved a net profit of Rs 218.28 lacs compared to Rs 270.93 lacs in the corresponding period last year. The company operates in coal trading as a single business segment. Basic and diluted earnings per share stood at negative Rs 0.40 for the quarter. The Board of Directors approved these unaudited financial results in their meeting held on November 12, 2025.

Chennai Ferrous Industries Reports Strong Q1 Results, Appoints New Auditors

Chennai Ferrous Industries Limited reported net profit of Rs 232.77 lakhs for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, compared to Rs 173.88 lakhs in the same period last year. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 6,920.90 lakhs versus Rs 7,381.92 lakhs in the previous year quarter. Earnings per share increased to Rs 6.46 from Rs 4.82 year-on-year. The Board approved appointment of M/s. Aayush Bohra A & Co. as statutory auditors for five years from the 15th to 20th Annual General Meeting, M/s. M K Madhavan & Associates as secretarial auditors for five years from April 2025 to March 2030, and M/s. N N Kumar & Associates as internal auditors for financial year 2025-26. All auditor appointments are subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. The company operates in coal trading as a single business segment.
