Company History

2006

  • The company changed its name from Mahindra Automotive Steels Ltd. to Mahindra Forgings Ltd.

2008

  • Mr. Oliver Scholz was appointed as an Additional Director of the company.

2009

  • The installed capacity was doubled from 40000 MT to 86000 MT by setting up two 4000 Ton Presses and one 6300 Ton Press.

2010

  • The company received the New Product Development Award from Volvo Eicher.
  • The company received the Best Supplier Award from Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd.

2011

  • A third crankshaft machining line was installed.
  • A new MAKINO was installed at the Tool Room for die production.

2013

  • The company name was changed from Mahindra Forgings Limited to Mahindra CIE Automotive Limited with effect from November 27, 2013.

2014

  • The Scheme of Amalgamation amongst Mahindra Composites Ltd. and Mahindra CIE Automotive Ltd. was approved by the High Court of Judicature at Bombay.
  • The Hon'ble Bombay High Court sanctioned the scheme of amalgamation between Mahindra Hinoday Industries Limited, Mahindra Ugine Steel Company Limited, Mahindra Gears International Limited, Mahindra Investments (India) Private Limited, Participaciones Internacionales Autometal Tres, S.L. and the company.
  • The scheme of amalgamation between Mahindra Composites Ltd. and the company became effective on December 10, 2014.

2015

  • The company issued and allotted 22,93,30,519 equity shares of Rs.10/- each as fully paid-up.
  • The paid-up equity share capital of the company was increased from Rs. 93,45,76,860/- to Rs. 3,22,78,82,050/-.

2022

  • Mahindra CIE Automotive is to acquire a 27% stake in Strongsun Solar.

2023

  • The company name has changed to CIE Automotive India Ltd. from Mahindra CIE Automotive Ltd.
