1978
- Everest Kanto Cylinder Limited was incorporated as Everest Kanto Cylinder Private Limited.
- The company set up a cylinder manufacturing unit.
- The first manufacturing facility suitable for manufacturing small sized seamless cylinders was set-up in collaboration with Kanto Koatsu Yoki Manufacturing Company at Aurangabad.
1983
- Mr J. T. Thakkar and family withdrew from the business and transferred his interest to Mr P. K. Khurana.
1985
- EKC expanded its manufacturing capacity with in house technology by setting up a new facility at Tarapur.
1989
- The Company became a deemed public company as per the provisions of the Act.
2003
- EKC set up a new state of the art manufacturing facility at Dubai, which went into commercial production.
2005
- The company was converted into a public limited company and received a fresh Certificate of Incorporation consequent to change of name to Everest Kanto Cylinder Limited.
2007
- The Company split its face value from Rs10/- to Rs2/-.
2008
- Everest Kanto received an order from Pakistan and Middle East countries for the supply of CNG cylinders.
2009
- Everest Kanto Cylinder completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Calcutta Compressions & Liquefaction Engineering Pvt. Ltd.
2010
- Everest Kanto Cylinder received orders for the export of CNG cylinders aggregating to about USD 5 Million.
- Everest Kanto Cylinder established a wholly owned subsidiary in Thailand by the name of EKC Industries (Thailand) Co. Ltd.
2011
- Mr. Vipin Chandok was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
2012
- Everest Kanto Cylinder set up a step down wholly owned subsidiary in Germany.
- Mr. P. K. Khurana was appointed as Managing Director of the Company.
2013
- Mr. P. M. Samvatsar was appointed as Director of the company.
