  • The Company changed its name to Searchlight Publishing House Limited.

2000

  • The Company commenced printing of Hindi daily Hindustan and English daily Hindustan Times from Ranchi.

2008

  • The Company changed its name to Hindustan Media Ventures Limited.

2009

  • The Company acquired the Hindi business from HT Media.

2010

  • The Company came out with an Initial Public Offering of shares and got listed on BSE and NSE.
  • The Company launched the Hindi daily newspaper Hindustan in Gorakhpur.

2011

  • The Company launched the weekly Hindustan Jobs in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar and Jharkhand.
  • The Company commenced printing of Hindi daily newspaper Hindustan in Aligarh.

2012

  • The Company launched the Hindi daily newspaper Hindustan in Moradabad.

2013

  • Board recommended a Dividend of Rs. 1.20 per equity share.

2014

  • Board recommended a Dividend of Rs. 1.20 per equity share.
  • HMVL acquired Hindi Business.

  • The company approved investment in Padma Infocom Private Limited.
