Company History

1976

  • The Company was incorporated as Indian Railway Construction Company Private Limited.
  • The Company converted from a private limited company to a public limited company.

1992

  • The Company was listed on the BSE Limited and the Delhi Stock Exchange Limited after the government disinvested 13,400 Equity Shares.

1995

  • The Company's name was changed to Ircon International Limited and a fresh certificate of incorporation was issued.

1998

  • The Company was granted the status of Mini Ratna – Category – 1 by the Ministry of Railways.

2011

  • The Company was voluntarily delisted from the BSE Limited.

2012

  • The Company was voluntarily delisted from the Delhi Stock Exchange.

  • Ircon International successfully bid for the balance work of Bahuti Canal Project.

2023

  • Ircon International Limited was awarded in favour in the matter of Arbitration between the Company and Eskom Holdings SOC Limited.

2024

  • IRCON secured a Letter of Award for the construction of a 2.5 km Twin Tube Uni-directional Aizawl Bypass Tunnel in Mizoram.
