- The name of the Company was changed to Jindal Thermal Power Company Limited after Tractebel, S.A., Belgium sold their holding to JSW group companies and financial institutions

- JSW Energy received the CII Leadership And Excellence Award for Safety, Health and Environment for best safety practices
