1993
- The Company was originally formed as a sole proprietorship under the name of Kalyan Jewellers at Thrissur.
- The first showroom under the brand 'Kalyan Jewellers' was opened in Thrissur, Kerala.
2004
- Kalyan Jewellers opened its first showroom outside Kerala, in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
2006
- The sole proprietorship was converted into a partnership firm under the name of Kalyan Jewellers which was registered under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932.
2008
- The name of the partnership firm was changed from Kalyan Jewellers to Kalyan Jewellers TSK.
2009
- The name of the Company was changed to Kalyan Jewellers India Private Limited.
- A fresh certificate of incorporation was issued by the Registrar of Companies, Tamil Nadu at Coimbatore on February 10, 2009.
- The partnership firm was converted into a private limited company under the Companies Act, 1956 with the name Kalyan Jewellers TSK Private Limited.
2010
- The Company launched the 'My Kalyan' customer outreach initiative.
- Kalyan Jewellers entered the Telangana and Karnataka markets.
2012
- Kalyan Jewellers opened its first showroom outside South India in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
2013
- The Company entered West India and Middle East markets.
2014
- Highdell, belonging to the Warburg Pincus group, first invested in the Company.
- Kalyan Jewellers entered the North India market.
2015
- Kalyan Jewellers entered the Chennai, Tamil Nadu and East India markets.
2016
- Kalyan Jewellers entered the West Bengal and Rajasthan markets.
- The Company launched the Kalyan Matrimony website.
- The name of the Company was changed to Kalyan Jewellers India Limited upon conversion to a public limited company.
- A fresh certificate of incorporation was issued by the Registrar of Companies on June 15, 2016.
2017
- Highdell, belonging to the Warburg Pincus group, made an incremental investment in the Company.
- The Company purchased a stake in Enovate Lifestyles Private Limited and its online platform at www.candere.com.
2018
- Kalyan Jewellers entered the North Eastern, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand markets.
2019
- Kalyan Jewellers entered the Bihar market.
2020
- The Company had 107 showrooms in India and 30 showrooms in the Middle East as of December 31, 2020.
2021
- Kalyan Jewellers launched Digital Gold.
- Kalyan Jewellers announced wedding season offering with Muhurat 2.0.
- Kalyan Jewellers successfully listed on the National Stock Exchange.
