- The Bank took over the assets and liabilities of Pathenen Gram Vasishya Bank Ltd, Shri Kannika Parameshwari Bank Ltd, and Arya Visya Bank Ltd.
- The Bank decided to take over the assets and liabilities of Coimbatore Bhagya Lakshmi Bank Ltd.

- 2,50,000 equity shares were issued at par in the ratio of 1:2.

- A D Navaneethan laid down the office of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

- KVB tied up with UTI to unveil a shared ATM network
- Shri G Sarangan resigned as a Director of the Bank
- Mr K S Ramabadran and Mr M K Venkatesan were appointed as Directors.
2004
- Shri K P Kumar was appointed as a director of the bank
- Shri A K Praburaj and Shri G Venkatesam resigned as Directors of the Bank.
