Company History
1986
- Kaveri Seed Company Private Limited was incorporated under the Companies Act.
1987
- Kaveri Seed set up its first marketing office at Davangere in Karnataka.
1996
- Kaveri Seed set up its R & D facility at Bollaram.
1997
- Kaveri Seed set up a Seed Processing Plant at Biramulguda near Hyderabad and introduced sunflower hybrid seeds.
1999
- Kaveri Seed set up a state of the art seed conditioning plant at Kandlkoi and produced Sunflower Hybrid Seeds.
2004
- Kaveri Seed entered into a sub-licensing agreement with Mahyco Monsanto Biotech (India) Limited for Bt. Gene Technology for Cotton Seeds.
2005
- A new seed conditioning plant with Cob Dryers was set up at Gundla Pochampally near Hyderabad.
2006
- Kaveri Seed acquired the business, assets and liabilities of M/s Kaveri Agriteck, a partnership firm.
- The company was converted into a public limited company and a fresh certificate of incorporation was issued.
- A new seed conditioning plant with Cob Dryers was set up at Eluru in Andhra Pradesh.
2007
- Kaveri Seed entered into a non-exclusive licensing agreement with JK Agri Genetics Limited for using insect tolerant seed lines.
2009
- Kaveri Seed recommended a dividend of 20% on the equity share capital of the Company.
2010
- Kaveri Seed recommended a dividend of 20% on the equity share capital of the Company.
2011
- Kaveri Seed recommended a dividend of 25% on the equity share capital of the Company.
2012
- Kaveri Seed recommended a dividend of 40% on the Equity Share Capital of the Company.
2013
- Kaveri Seed recommended a dividend of 80% on the Equity Share Capital of the company.
2014
- Kaveri Seed recommended a final dividend of 120% and split its face value from Rs 10 to Rs 2.
2016
- Kaveri Seed commenced operations at a new facility in Molangur Village, Karimnagar District, Telangana.
