Company History

1985

  • The Company was incorporated on 6th November as Western Leasing Limited.

1987

  • The Company changed its line of business to manufacture HDPE Pipes and HDPE/PP Tanks and Vessels.
  • The name of the Company was changed to M/s Kunststoffe Industries Limited and received its Certificate of Change of Name on 20th August.
  • The Company entered into a collaboration agreement with M/s Troisdorfer Bau and Kunststoffe Gmbh (BAUKU) of West Germany for the production of pipes with spirally wound profile wall pipe technology.

1992

  • The company entered into a technical collaboration with BAUKU of Germany and deputed engineers for training at the collaborator's plant.

1994

  • The Rights issue made by the company was fully subscribed with 3,950,000 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each at a premium of Rs. 5/- per share aggregating to Rs. 5.92 crores.

1995

  • Mr. K.G. Underkat, Mr. C.H. Kampani and Dr. B.V. Bhoota retired.
  • Mr. V.G. Rajadhyaksha resigned from the Board as Chairman due to pre-occupation.
  • Mr. Manual Menezes and Mr. Rashid Kalania resigned from the Board.

1996

  • Mr. Y. J. Shabbir retired by rotation and offered himself for re-appointment.
  • Mr. Pravin Sheth resigned from the Board as Chairman due to pre-occupation.
  • Ms. Vilina P. Sheth, Dr. B. V. Bhoota and Mr. Kantilal G. Underkat resigned from the Board.

1997

  • Mr. H.K. Vithalani and Mr. Marcus Hawercamp retired by rotation and were recommended for reappointment.

2000

  • The name of the R&T agent of the company was changed from Hamco Share Reg. Pvt. Ltd. to Sharex (India) Pvt. Ltd.

2008

  • The Company created an email id [kunststoffe@gmail.com](mailto:kunststoffe@gmail.com).

2011

  • The Registered Office of the Company was shifted to Kiran Building, 128, Bhaudaji Road, Matunga, Mumbai - 400019.
