1988
- The Company was incorporated on 3rd October.
- The Company was promoted by Smt. T. Sarada, Vijayaraghavan Nambiar, and Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation, Ltd.
- The Company undertook to set up facilities for cocoa processing and chocolate manufacturing with a capacity of 3000 TPA.
- The Company entered into a technical arrangement with Chocolate Confectionery Consultancy, U.K.
- The Company retained the services of Plantek (M) SDN BHD of Malaysia for consultancy services.
1989
- The Company obtained the Certificate for Commencement of Business on 10th February.
1991
- The Company allotted 80,000 non-convertible debentures and 30,000 non-convertible debentures to SBI Mutual Fund and Canbank Mutual Fund respectively.
- 18,00,000 shares were allotted for cash at par.
- 22,00,000 equity shares were issued at par, with 2,00,000 shares reserved for employees and the balance offered to the public.
1992
- 30,70,000 equity shares were allotted to Sunshine Allied Investment Ltd., Singapore.
1994
- 17,17,756 shares were allotted to foreign collaborators at a premium of Rs. 2 per share.
1995
- The Company launched six new products in the consumer range.
- The Company expanded its distribution network to Kerala, Goa, and Maharashtra.
- The Company entered into a selling arrangement with Cocospecs of Malaysia for export of cocoa derivatives and bulk chocolate.
- The Company entered into a sub-contract conversion agreement with Britannia Industries Ltd. for manufacturing chocolate products.
- 37,55,108 equity shares were issued on a rights basis to foreign collaborators.
2001
- The Company launched three new products: Maltese, Fun and Magic.
2014
- The Company appointed Shri. Bharathan RajaGopalan Thatal as Additional Director.
- The Company appointed Shri Rabindranath Jarugumilli as Additional Director.
