- The company declared a lock out on 22.7.1987.
- The unit was re-opened on 9.12.1987.
1991
- The company expanded its capacity to 19,128 spindles.
1992
- The company expanded its capacity to 24,672 spindles.
1994
- The company became a deemed Public Limited Company under Section 43A(1A) of the Companies Act, 1956 from 1.7.1994.
- The company set up two Wind Turbine Generators at Muppandal, Kanya Kumari District, Tamil Nadu.
1995
- The company completed installation of three more Wind Turbine Generators.
- A fresh Certificate of Incorporation was issued on 9.2.1995.
2014
- The Board recommended a dividend of 10% for the year.
2015
- The company proposed to declare a dividend of 10%.
2016
- Mr. A Hari Govind was appointed as a Director.
