Nile Limited Appoints Aditya Akkineni as Independent Director

Nile Limited shareholders approved the appointment of Mr. Aditya Akkineni as an Independent Director at their meeting on September 30, 2025. Akkineni, who holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Texas at Austin, has been appointed for a five-year term ending September 29, 2030, and will not be liable to retire by rotation. He currently serves as director in six other companies including Alufluoride Ltd, Annapurna Studios Private Limited, and GSR Advisory Services Private Limited. The company confirmed that Akkineni is not debarred from accessing capital markets or restricted from holding directorship positions. He is not related to any existing directors or key managerial personnel on the board.

NILE Reports 84% Jump in Q1 Net Profit to 149 Million Rupees

NILE reported consolidated net profit of 149 million rupees in Q1, representing an 84% increase from 81 million rupees in the same period last year. Revenue remained flat at 2.4 billion rupees compared to the previous year. EBITDA grew significantly to 222 million rupees from 130 million rupees, while EBITDA margin expanded to 9.1% from 5.3% in the prior year period.
