1987

  • One line Lakshmi Rieter blow room was installed.
  • 4 nos. Lakshmi Rieter High production cards, Christallina Type C 1/3 were installed.
  • 1 no. of each Lakshmi Rieter draw frame Models DO/6 and DO/2s was installed.
  • 1 no. Lakshmi Rieter open end spinning machine Model M 1/2 with 168 rotar was installed.
  • 1 each of Lakshmi Rieter combers was installed.
  • 4 nos. doubling machine were installed.
  • 18 nos. Keyar double swift reeling machine were installed.
  • 51,658 bonus shares were issued in the proportion 3:5.

1988

  • 2 nos. L.R. High production cards 'Christallina' type C 1/3 were installed.
  • 4 nos. Premier Cards Control autolevellers were installed.
  • 2 nos. L.R. open end spinning machines model M 1/2 with 168 Rotors each were installed.
  • A humidification plant and electrical accessories were installed.

1989

  • The Company imported and installed one scalafhorst automatic cone winder model 238.
  • 4 nos. L.R. high production cards were installed.
  • 1 no. L.R. draw frame model DO/6 was installed.
  • 1 no. open end spinning frame model M 1/2 with 168 Rotors was installed.
  • 4 nos. Veejay-Lakshmi two for one twister were installed.
  • 4 nos. Premier card control 2 auto leveller computers were installed.

1991

  • The Company's 100% export-oriented spinning mill named 'Rajapalayam Spintex' was commissioned with 6000 spindles.

1993

  • The Company installed 3 nos. 250 KW wind world make electric generators in Muppandal, near Nagercoil.

1994

  • The Government of India gave its approval for starting a 100% EOU for exports to M/s. Unitika Ltd., Japan.
  • 137,646 shares were issued.

1995

  • 103 shares were issued.

1996

  • The Company installed 1 No. Savio Auto Coner, 1 No. Speed Frame, 4 Nos. Doubling Frames, 1 No. Doubler Winder, and 2 Nos. 1250 KVA Generators.
  • The Company undertook to set up a Tissue Culture Unit under the name and style of Shri Ramco Biotech.
  • 5 shares were issued.
  • 750 shares were issued to the shareholders of erstwhile Jayaram Mills Ltd.

2008

  • Mr. A V Dharmakrishnan was appointed as an Additional Director till the end of the next Annual General Meeting.

2011

  • The company acquired the entire 60,000,000 equity shares of RSPL from the shareholders of RSPL.
  • 3,51,000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each were allotted to Shri. P R Ramasubrahmaneya Rajha, Chairman on a preferential basis.
  • The company issued a bonus in the ratio of 1:1.

2012

  • The merger of the Company's wholly owned subsidiary M/s. Rajapalayam Spinners Limited with its holding Company Rajapalayam Mills Ltd was completed.

2013

  • Rajapalayam Mills Ltd amalgamated with its wholly owned subsidiary M/s. Rajapalayam Spinners Limited (RSL).
  • Shri V. Santhana Raman was appointed as an Additional Director of the company.

2014

  • Shri K B Nagendra Murthy was appointed as an Additional Director of the company.
  • The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 7.50 per share.

2022

  • The company issued rights shares of Rs. 10 in the ratio of 1:14 at a premium of Rs. 559 per share.

2024

  • The Company completed the acquisition of 157,000 shares of The Ramco Cements Limited.
