Saffron Industries Reports Mixed Performance with Real Estate Segment Driving Profits

Saffron Industries Limited announced unaudited financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2025. The company reported a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 23.75 lakhs for the quarter, compared to a loss of Rs 9.20 lakhs in the preceding quarter. Revenue from operations reached Rs 81.03 lakhs for the quarter. The company operates two business segments: Paper Manufacturing and Real Estate Development. The Real Estate Development segment generated revenue of Rs 81.03 lakhs and profit of Rs 54.21 lakhs, while the Paper Manufacturing segment reported no revenue and a loss of Rs 30.46 lakhs. For the six-month period, the company achieved a profit of Rs 14.54 lakhs on revenue of Rs 391.38 lakhs. The company's cash and cash equivalents increased to Rs 63.22 lakhs from Rs 31.72 lakhs. Long-term borrowings decreased significantly from Rs 1,184.34 lakhs to Rs 255.20 lakhs.
