Sakthi Finance Reports 52% Drop in Quarterly Profit, Raises ₹150 Crores Through NCD Issue

Sakthi Finance Limited reported a net profit of ₹376.14 lakhs for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, compared to ₹788.06 lakhs in the same quarter last year. For the half-year period, net profit declined to ₹788.06 lakhs from ₹1,665.15 lakhs in the previous year. The company successfully raised ₹150 crores through a public issue of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) during the quarter, with allotment completed on August 29, 2025. The Board approved the redemption of NCDs worth ₹5,673.13 lakhs and ₹1,603.70 lakhs from earlier issues. The company also raised ₹7.66 crores through private placement of preference shares and increased its authorized capital by adding 20 lakh preference shares. Gross Non-Performing Assets (GNPA) ratio stood at 4.92% while Net NPA ratio was 2.17%. The security cover for NCDs maintained at 1.10 times as required.

Sakthi Finance Limited has issued a postal ballot notice seeking shareholder approval for the appointment of Saurabh Jain (DIN: 02322422) as a Non-Executive, Independent Director for a five-year term from September 27, 2025 to September 26, 2030.
