  • Issued 23,13,640 equity shares on rights (5:8); 1,37,272 pref shares (2 pref:50 eq); 1,15,680 equity to employees.
  • Pollution Control Division installed plants in 1-2 distilleries; supplied PVC rings to Punjab distillery.
  • Commenced marketing drugs pharmaceuticals and allied products.

1990

  • Installed three effluent treatment plants in distilleries.
  • Took over management of 1,250 TCD co-operative sugar factory at Baramagara Orissa for 10 years.

  • Proposed 30,000 litres/day distillery adjacent to Dhenkanal sugar factory.

  • Entered technical collaboration with George Fischer Foundry Systems Ltd Switzerland.
