2012	Received the Star Performer award for Irrigation by Tata Steel Tubes SBU.
2013	Acquired a roofing products company, CRIPL. Commenced retail operations in Puducherry. Received the Gold Distributor 2012-13 award by Astral.
2015	Launched own private label brands including Taurus, Prince Galva Plus and Loha. Crossed Rs. 6 billion turnover in the retail segment. Added a new product category of water tanks. Listed among the top 200 best unlisted Indian companies by Business Standard. Received the Star Performer (II) award for ERW Pipes and Tubes by Jindal Pipes Limited and Maharashtra Seamless Limited.
2016	The Company changed its name to Shankara Building Products Limited. Achieved Rs. 20 billion + turnover. Added new product categories including cement, tiles, scaffolding and solar products. Crossed Rs. 8 billion turnover in the retail segment. Commenced operations at the 100th retail store. Received the Best Emerging Dealer in Bengaluru 2015-16 award by Johnson.
