Tulsyan NEC Reports Quarterly Loss of Rs 6.93 Crore for Q2 FY2025

Tulsyan NEC Limited reported a net loss of Rs 692.85 lakhs for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, compared to a loss of Rs 476.61 lakhs in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations increased to Rs 2,447.29 crore from Rs 1,805.20 crore year-on-year. For the six-month period, the company's net loss widened to Rs 1,693.20 lakhs versus Rs 437.33 lakhs in the previous year. The company operates through three business segments: Steel Division, Synthetic Division, and Power. Finance costs rose significantly to Rs 1,736.67 lakhs in the quarter from Rs 849.02 lakhs last year. The Board of Directors approved these unaudited financial results at their meeting held on November 12, 2025.

Tulsyan NEC Limited Defaults on NCD Interest Payment

Tulsyan NEC Limited has defaulted on interest payment for its Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) on the due date of November 6, 2025. The company issued Rs. 269 crores worth of secured NCDs with a 5-year tenure and structured redemption. Tulsyan NEC's total financial indebtedness stands at Rs. 288.84 crores, including both short-term and long-term debt. The company stated it is making efforts to pay the overdue interest amount at the earliest.
