However, the company swung to a net loss of Rs 13.90 lakhs from a profit of Rs 46.57 lakhs in Q1 FY2025. The decline in profitability was primarily driven by a 43% increase in raw material costs to Rs 25.37 crores and an 18.7% rise in other expenses to Rs 1.02 crores. EBITDA margin turned negative at -0.5% compared to 4.9% in the previous year. The Aluminium Foil segment generated the entire revenue for the quarter while the PVC Film/Sheeting segment reported no revenue. The company's earnings per share stood at Rs -0.34.
